Red palm oil
Red palm oil is obtained from the pulp of the fruit of the oil palm and is an unrefined and untreated, organic and environmentally friendly oil. It’s all natural.
About 50% of the fat it contains is medium and long-chain triglycerides (mainly c16).
It is considered to be the richest natural food in carotene as it contains about 15 times more than the carrot. It also contains tocotrienols, a special form of vitamin E with very antioxidant properties and one of its richest sources. Because of this composition it is a valuable aid in the fight against aging, oxidative stress (cellular stress) and it is neuroprotective.

It’s great for steamed vegetables to give them a nice orange color. For example with steamed zucchini, cauliflower or leek fondue.

Red palm oil can be used for frying, but only for single use. On the other hand, it is not recommended for repeated frying. Fryer: First heat the glass slightly.
