Palm oil is a vegetable oil obtained from the pulp of the fruit of the oil palm.
Palm kernel oil is obtained from the kernels of the fruit and consists of more than 80% saturated fats (mainly lauric acid is bound). Oil palms are three times as productive as rapeseed oil. Oil palms are three times as productive as canola oil.
