For those who can’t let their stew simmer for an hour but still want to enjoy fine garlic and onion flavors.
Rondelle is also called Country Onion, Bobimbi, Olum or Hiomi. The smell is strongly reminiscent of garlic and onion. In Cameroon we like to use the fruit as a spice for dishes such as mbongo, nkui, sauces or the pébé soup.
Whole rounds are added at the beginning of the cooking time.
